about

Amit Rai Sharma

> a musician and practicing sound-artist based in London, UK.

> involved in education and creative development.

> writing, recording, and releasing music with partners and as an individual.

The work is informed by equally by the concept of furniture music and audio psychology.

For the last 10 years, I have been working as a creative mentor with the experimental educational research charity 'Protégé', who specialise in young people who have disengaged from, or have restricted access to, mainstream education.

Together with my wife and artist Samantha Y. Huang, we co-run the arts initiative 'IMA Studio' which works to raise questions with the status quo in Fine Art in the hope to generate new innovative ways for artists to have better, longer, more sustainable careers.
