Amit Rai Sharma
英國聲音藝術家,畢業於英國羅漢普頓大學應用音樂心理學研究所,自2004年起持續發展以聲音為媒介的場域創作,並於2024年自倫敦移居彰化。他擅長挖掘日常微小聲響與背景音,並將之轉化為具情感張力的沉浸式聲音景觀,邀請觀者進入融合感官與心理經驗的感知場域。
Amit Rai Sharma (黃洺緯) is a British-Indian sound artist with a Master's in Applied Music Psychology from the University of Roehampton. His work excavates subtle everyday sounds, ambient noise, and documentary audio, transforming them into immersive sonic installations, rich with emotional tension and narrative. These works invite audiences into environments that integrate sensory and psychological experience.
陳昱翰 Yu-Han Chen
陳昱翰現就讀於國立彰化師範大學美術學系四年級，創作以個人記憶以及新佳民二代為出發點,探討人際關係中的脆弱與連結。他擅長以裝置藝術作為表現形式,關注材料的物質性與聲音特質,透過空間與物件的對話,建構細膩且感性的敘事語境。
Yu-Han Chen (陳昱翰) is currently studying in the Department of Fine Arts at National Changhua University of Education. His artistic practice is rooted in personal memory and the experience of being a second-generation new immigrant, exploring the fragility and connections in human relationships. He specializes in installation art, with a focus on the materiality and sonic characteristics of objects. Through the interplay between space and material, he constructs delicate and emotionally resonant narrative contexts.
本次在西12房舍進行的藝術進駐計畫，回應了「隨身帶走的與身後遺留的」這一句子。不同於將這句話以具體物件進行思考，Amit 和陳昱翰則以所隨身攜帶的不可視之物，與遺留不可見的痕跡探討此命題。
生活包含許多的變動，即使人們不變，周遭的世界也仍舊不斷改變。這些變化會在我們身上留下印痕，就如同我們也會將痕跡留存在我們周圍的環境與事物上。
在藝術家進駐的期間，隨時歡迎民眾前來與藝術家互動，並分享自身對於在空間的搬遷移抑或是人生旅途中的經歷和回憶。
This residency in Room 12 is a direct exploration of the sentence "what you take with you, and what you leave behind". And while we think about these things as objects, Amit & Yu-Han are exploring the invisible things we carry with us, and the invisible traces we leave behind.
Life involves constant change, and even if we don't change, the world changes around us. These changes leave impressions on us as much as we leave impressions on the things around us.
Whilst the artists are on site, members of the public are welcome to come and interact with the artists and share their own experiences and memories of moving through places, or moving through life.
