Words On The Hill
2020
Words On The Hill is a site-specific installation for The Coronet Theatre, Notting Hill as part of Kensington Chelsea Art Week 2020. The installation components are banners that drape across the facade of the theatre (by artist Maya Sanbar) and an audio collage of collected poets & their poems playing out across three hidden speakers.

The composition was created from submitted recordings of poetry readings - both of known poets and unknown. The soundscape upon which the poetry readings sit is created from a large collection of audio samples, some of which have been sourced via freesound.org.
